Jesus arrives in Jericho in the midst of crowd looking for a great king. Could he be the one who replays the mighty victories of Joshua over a foreign enemy? When a blind man calls him “Son of David”, it seems that a warrior spirit truly is in the air. But Jesus tones it all down. He’s not come with a sword to kill but a life to give in service to others. All must see him as he truly is.
