Each Sunday we normally hold two services: 10.30 in the morning and 5.00 in the afternoon. You’ll receive a warm welcome and afterwards we would be glad to have you stay around to meet some of us. After the services we normally serve tea or coffee to anybody who would like a cup.
Our services are very straightforward and mostly consist of singing, praying, reading the Bible and somebody preaching; the evening service often also includes a time of questions and discussion. The preaching is an important part of our services because we believe it matters that people should understand the Bible’s message as clearly as possible. This is because the Bible is the inspired Word of God – a book written by God himself, through people across many ages. So the preacher will spend time explaining some part of the Bible so that we can learn more about God and about his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. And what we learn are not just strange ideas that have nothing to do with real life. The preacher will aim to show that the teaching of the Bible is as relevant to us as it was for the people who first read it.
