The time has come for Jesus to die. Now the forces of evil, which he has been so powerful against, will be allowed to do their worst. It begins with the scheming, greedy crooks up at the temple being ready to pay for insider information from one who has been close to Jesus: Judas. But in the midst of the wickedness, God is at work for good. And that shines out when Jesus is lovingly anointed with expensive perfume. What others see as wasteful, he views as preparation for his sacrificial death. To see life properly, we need to see events through the eyes of the Lord and learn what he is doing.
