Jesus condemns the temple.
Its leaders hate him.
He has no right to do this!
Jesus tells a story.
It’s about a vineyard.
The owner wants the rent.
The tenants don’t want to pay.
People come to get the money.
They hurt them.
The owner’s son arrives.
They kill him.
The owner defeats them.
He gives the vineyard to others.
Jesus’ story is about Israel.
The people have ignored God.
The leaders will kill Jesus.
Yet, Jesus is God’s Son!
God will be angry with them.
But he will raise Jesus to life.
Jesus will rule forever as king.
We owe God everything.
We must not ignore him.
We must honour him.
We must trust his Son Jesus.
