    People hope Jesus will fight.
That he is a warrior king!
A blind man calls him that.
    Then asks for his help.
    Jesus gives him sight.
    Then sends him away.
    Jesus orders a colt.
He rides it up to Jerusalem.
    Many people come to see.
    They get very excited.
    They cover the road.
    They shout out.
    They think he’s a saviour.
That he’s a new king David!
    Now he will fight!
    But Jesus does not fight.
    He just looks around.
    Then he leaves the city.
He will win a victory here.
    But not by killing others.
    Jesus is God’s special king.
    He came to rescue us.
He did so by giving up his life.
We must put our faith in him.
