    Many come to find Jesus
    Some are very religious
    They come to test him
They want to cause him trouble
    So they ask about divorce
    Jesus asks about their laws
    The ones Moses gave them
    Those laws permit divorce
    Jesus tells them why
    Because they behave badly
They do not love God’s ways
    What was God’s plan?
    God made marriage like this:
One man, one woman, for life
    It’s wrong to break this
Later, Jesus is with his friends
    They find his words hard
    But he tells them clearly:
    Divorce is not God’s way
    It leads to adultery
    Jesus’s words can be hard
    We may not like them
    But what matters is this:
    Are they true?
