Jesus says he is a king.
A king sent by God.
He also says he must die.
Yet he will return to life.
Resurrection, after three days.
Peter tells him “No!”
Jesus tells him “Yes!”
God has planned this.
Jesus will give up everything,
for the sake of others.
His people must be the same.
Life is precious.
But we lose it in death.
Jesus offers a greater life.
One which survives death.
His people will have this.
But those who ignore him,
will not have this.
They will have nothing.
Life is more than what we have now.
We can give up anything.
And still have everything.
If we trust Jesus.
