Thousands have listened to Jesus.
Now they are hungry.
Jesus says to feed them.
“We can’t,” say his disciples.
“Send them to buy food.”
“We only have five loaves and two fish!”
Jesus tells the crowd to sit.
He thanks God for the loaves.
Then he breaks them up.
The disciples serve the food.
Everyone gets a decent meal.
Lots of food is left over:
A basketful for each disciple!
5000 men are satisfied.
Jesus has fed an army.
Jesus is the Son of God.
He controls the world.
He can meet any need.
He calls us to trust him.
