Now homeless, Jesus sees that it’s time to increase the reach of his mission. He sends out his 12 disciples two-by-two to battle with unclean spirits. It’s a sign that as king he will win the greatest victory of all:
Beelzebub
Jesus’ kingdom is not like others. His route as king is very different from that of other world leaders. This confuses many. His family fear for his choices and think him mad. Officials from Jerusalem are bothered by his actions
Away for twelve
Jesus could so easily become a king in the normal way, given the size of the crowds who are flooding to him and the power he appears to wield. Yet his kingdom is not of this world. So he does
